Ohio Nursery Develops Six-Row Transplanter
In the July 1949 issue of the Journal Of Forestry, there appeared on page 531 an article entitled "The New Bradley Transplanter." The article pertained to a seedling transplanter that was developed by Tom O. Bradley, Nursery Manager, Soil Conservation Service Nursery, Zanesville, Ohio. This transplanter differs from the usual type found in forest tree nurseries in that it plants five rows instead of the normal two rows in one operation.
