Field Trials of Root Dipping Treatments for Red Pine, Jack Pine, and White Spruce Nursery Stock in Minnesota

Root dipping treatments for moisture retention were tested for red pine (Pinus resinosa Ait.), jack pine (P. banksiana Lamb.), and white spruce (Picea glauca (Moench) Voss) in two separate field trials. Results were mixed, but they suggest that survival is not necessarily increased by using the root dipping products tried.
