Fungicides for Control of Sirococcus Tip Blight of Pine at a Northern California Nursery

Fungicides that could be used as an alternative to chlorothalonil for control of sirococcus tip blight of Jeffrey pine (Pinus jeffreyi Grev. & Balf.) were evaluated in field trials. Three triazole fungicides (propiconazole, penconazole, and triadimefon) applied at 8-week intervals were as effective as chlorothalonil applied at 4-week intervals.
