Germination of Pinus Gerardiana Seeds Following Storage and Stratification

Chilgoza pine seeds stored for 3 years at -10° C yielded 60 percent germination with no pretreatment. Stratification of frozen seeds yielded only 6 percent germination. Seeds stored at + 40 C were not viable.
