Soil Management Plan for the G.O. White State Forest Nursery

The George O. White State Forest Nursery has expanded, shifted its emphasis to producing a wider variety of species and has made changes in cultural practices. A need for soils information was recognized as a key tool on which to base important management decisions. Four major areas of management were selected for specific attention in this soils report. They are irrigation, fertility, species selection and pollution prevention.
