Increase interest in Longleaf seedlings to establish pine plantations, more recommendations from foresters to plant Longleaf under the CRP program and the necessity of plating high amounts of plants per acre to establish suitable stand has increased high amounts of plants per acre to produce a seedling of higher quality and greater survivability when outplanted.
