Testing Superabsorbant Treatments for Loblolly Pine Seedlings

Loblolly pine seedlings treated with superabsorbent root dips performed as well as the standard packing media (clayslurry) in field trials. No statistically significant differences were noted in either survival or height growth of seedlings whether packed in superabsorbents or clay slurry.
