Growing containerized tree seedlings in a shadehouse

Initial data indicate containerized ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa, Rocky Mountain form) tree seedlings germinated in a greenhouse in early May can be moved to a shadehouse in early June and successfully grown in Albuquerque, N.M. Data also indicate that ponderosa pine seedlings sown in early February can be removed from the greenhouse in early May rather than early June and may survive a July outplanting at the same location.
