Production, Use, and Field Performance of Container Seedlings in the Prairie Provinces

Data on the production, use, and field performance of container seedlings in the prairie provinces are presented. About 10% of the area harvested is planted to container stock, 70% of which is white spruce (Picea glauca [Moench] Voss). Refinements in container use await application of effective operational performance assessment procedures.
