Selective herbicides reduce weeding costs in two Mississippi nurseries

In tests conducted from 1974 to 1977, the preemergence herbicides, Treflan, Eptam, Dymid, and Destuni' reduced weeds and weeding costs in seedling beds of loblolly, slash, and shortleaf pine. Velpar and Roundup controlled weeds along riser lines.
