Tubeling Research Plantings In Minnesota

A series of jack pine and red pine tubeling planting studies in Minnesota explored feasibility of planting during the growing season, tested various site preparation treatments, and effect of extending the cultural period. Results reinforce need for control of vegetative competition and for a container with a greater rooting volume.
