Field Survival Of Container-Grown Jeffrey Pine Seedlings Outplanted On Adverse Sites

To investigate the potential of container grown seedlings outplanted on adverse sites, field survival trials were conducted using a variety of container types during the years 1971, 1972 and 1973. Field survival of Jeffrey pine seedlings was highest in a 9-inch mesh container.
