Field Performance Of Containerized Seedlings In The Southern Region, USDA Forest Service

Containerized southern pine seedlings have been planted on a large scale on various soil and site conditions throughout the National Forests in the South. Results have shown that all the southern pines can be used successfully in the containerized program. Further work is needed on diseases associated with greenhouse production.
