Development Of The British Columbia Container Program
Small trials of Walters' 2 1/2-inch bullet were carried out in 1962, 1963 and 1965. In 1967 the Pacific Forest Research Centre began a three-year program of testing two species on the Coast and three in the Central Interior, in 2 1/2-inch and 4 1/2-inch Walters bullets and 9/16-inch Ontario tubes in comparison with standard 2-0 bare-root seedlings.
