Hardwood Insects and Thier Control in the Nursery

Until recent years little emphasis has been given to hardwood insect pests and their control. The conversion of bottomlands into soybean production (1,000,000 acres in Louisiana for 1962-1969)has forced the timber producer into getting the most possible use from his land.
