Effects of boron fertilization in the nursery or after planting on the performance of Norway spruce seedlings on boron-poor sites

We studied the effects of extra B fertilization on growth and morphology in one- and two-year-old Norway spruce seedlings. The experiments were carried out in Central Finland, Suonenjoki Boron was applied in a nursery and/or after planting in a nurseryfield and in a reforestation site, both known to be low in B.
