Testing Endothia parasitica Strains for Vegetative Incompatibility
Vegetative incompatibility can be detected in the laboratory by pairing Endothia parasitica strains on agar media. Preliminary field results indicate an involvement of vegetative incompatibility in hypovirulence transfer in the host.
