This guidebook has been prepared to help forestry practitioners meet the requirements of the Forest Practices Code with respect to planning, collecting, registering and using seed and vegetative material. The guide is relevant to all forestry operations that use planting or direct seeding as a method of reforestation. The procedures, processes and options described are arranged in the same order as the business of reforestation—from planning to planting.
