Characterizing two decades of rare plant reintroductions

This chapter presents an overview of reintroduction projects that were documented in the CPC International Reintroduction Registry. The goal of the registry and database is to assist the conservation community in its ongoing efforts to advance the science and improve the practice of conservation. The effort is ongoing, and readers are invited to provide information about additional projects by accessing the registry on the Center for Plant Conservation website. Any reported projects can provide additional insights to the practice of reintroduction, its successes and failures.
