Fertilizer timing to increase flowering in eastern white pine (Pinus strobus L.)

Fertilizers were applied on four different dates to orchard ramets of eastern white pine to determine optimum time to increase flowering. Male flowering benefited most by fertilizing in late May, and female flowering by fertilizing in late June or early July.
