The University of Idaho Center for Forest Nursery and Seedling Research will be hosting the meeting in celebration of 100 years of seedling production at the University of Idaho. This meeting will be a joint assembly of three nursery groups including the INC, the Western Forest and Conservation Nursery Association, and the Intermountain Container Seedling Growers’ Association and will provide a broad depth of forest and native plant nursery topics from agency, university, and private perspectives.
The Intertribal Nursery Council will hold its annual meeting, with information sharing presentations and a discussion session, on Tuesday, July 14. Wednesday the INC will join the Western Forest and Conservation Nursery and Intermountain Container Seedling Growers’ Associations for the joint nursery meeting. Morning presentations will be followed by an afternoon tour of the University nursery. Four to five demonstration stations will provide information on basic nursery culture and cutting edge nursery research and technology. Wednesday will conclude with dinner. Thursday will have morning presentations followed by an afternoon of optional workshops and tours.
