Propagule Processing: METHOD OF CLEANING: The fruit or berries are first soaked in water overnight. Seeds are then extracted from fruit by maceration, and are then sieved and rinsed to remove pulp. Sieve sizes, top: #10, bottom: #40; seeds are then dried on mesh trays. After drying, seed is air-screened, to remove nonviable seed and inert material, using an office Clipper with a top screen: #9 triangle and a bottom screen: 1/25 round, medium speed, low to medium air. The lot is finished using an air column separator, Continuous Seed Blower, Model CB 2001, blower speed: 172, feeder speed: 47, to remove remaining inert material. Number of Seeds per Pound: 336,999, Purity: 99.9%, X-Ray 100 Seeds: 98% Filled
