Propagule Processing: Three seedlots were run once through the Westrup Brush Machine with medium stiff brushes, with coarse shell (size 10 wire ), at speed 11 to separate the seeds from the flowers.

The first seedlot no additional cleaning was needed following the brush machine.
The hulls of the second seedlot was run through the aspirator twice at 0.01 inches of water column to remove the light trash. The aspirated seed was run through the blower and then a 7.5/64" round hole screen was used to remove the larger size trash and a 6.5/64" round hole screen was used to remove medium size trash.
The third seedlot was run through a blower to clean the seed.
