Seed was then air-screened, to remove chaff and inert material, using a Clipper Eclipse, Model 324, with a top screen: 1/18 x 1/4 slot, 2nd screen: 1/18 x 1/4 slot and bottom screen: 1/25 round or blank, medium speed and medium air. Number of Seeds per Pound: 150,200, Purity: 98%, X-Ray 100 Seeds: 95% Filled
Harvesting, Storage and Shipping: Storage: Freezer Storage
Other Comments: Squirreltail is a challenge to clean due to long reflexed awns, which aid in dispersal, that make this seed "flighty" and difficult to feed into the brush machine.
