Heating pretreatment resulted in 100% germination. Pretreatment with potassium nitrate resulted in 60% germination. Germination occurs at 24D/13N C alternating temperature cycle. Seeds are placed in cold moist stratification for 60 days. Germination occurs at 35D/20N C alternating temperature cycle. Mechanical injury of the caryopis or covering layers resulted in 73% germination. |
