Two seedlots were run through the Westrup Brush Machine at speed 11. Medium stiff brushes and a coarse shell were used to separate the seeds from the flowers. No further treatment was done on one seedlot. The other seedlot was aspirated at a vacuum of 0.01 inches of water column three times to remove light weight trash. Large material (scalping) was removed with a 80/1000 inch round hole screen. |
