Biography:
I began my career with the US Forest Service in 2002 as a seasonal employee. Since then, I have served various roles with the agency including Genetic Resources Technician, Nursery Seed Bank Manager and more recently Nursery Manager of the Lucky Peak Nursery in Boise, ID. Currently I work within the nursery and reforestation portfolio in the Landowner Assistance program of State, Private, and Tribal Forestry. This allows me to connect with State, Tribal, and private nursery and land managers across the US providing technical assistance and funding opportunities.
I earned a BSc in Biology from California State University, Long Beach in 2001 and a Masters in Natural Resources from Oregon State University in 2014. I am passionate about public service and the Forest Service motto: "Caring for the Land and Serving People".
