The Reveg Edge

Established in 1992 to invent successful ecological restoration methods, to produce 100% native grass and forb cover within 6 months, and eliminate cheatgrass in the arid West at www.ecoseeds.com/greatbasin.html. These innovative methods could help solve the cheatgrass fire, PM-10 dust issues in the West, and help restore Sage Grouse habitats. Also, invented methods to replant local natives in the high elevation Rocky Mountain tarplant habitat in Idaho. Other methods discovered to restore California grasslands with no seed sowing--unearthing the dormant native seeds in the soil-seed bank at www.ecoseeds.com/shaw.pdf. In 1997 conducted a 2,000 mile-by-mile vegetation survey from California to South Dakota, noting what plants grew at each post mile, at www.ecoseeds.com/great-basin-megatransect.pdf . Survey records weed locations and sites with natives for future study or seed harvesting. When sowing large areas with native seeds, our methods could help produce consistent successes.
