Macro and Micronutrient Programmes in B.C. Bareroot Nurseries

In 1986 an intensive foliar analysis programme was introduced, subsequently, boron, copper, iron and zinc were often found to be low or deficient during the growing season and lift. The programme combined the introduction of micronutrient soil amendments and foliar sprays and has significantly improved stock quality.
